Parent Guide for their Role in helping children get ready to read

Hello class!

Early literacy is what children know about reading and writing before they can actually read and write.

Research shows that children get ready to read years before they start school and parents are extremely crucial in order to help their two- and three-year-olds learn important skills at that age so they can become good readers.

Early Literacy Begins With You

Please read this article for parents to actively participate in their children's early reading skills preparation and answer the following:

  1. Please write a 50-word paragraph about your childhood experience with reading skill preparation. Did your parents do any of the guidelines in this article? If they did, how did this help you? If they did not, how did this affect you?
  2. Think about your children if you have them or imagine you have them if you don't. Which are 7 things you are very certain you will do for them? Which are 3 things you are very certain you will not do for them?
  3. How would our Honduran society be different if all parents knew and did these things for their children? Please write a 100-word paragraph about it.

Please make sure that you answer every aspect in all the questions and you have a good grammar and spelling in order to get all the points.

Remember that results and opinions can not exactly be the same.

Deadline: Sunday, March 24th, at 11:59pm.

  1. Hello This is Ana Mejia’s comments.
1.-My parents they didn’t know how do it. They just had a few grades of school, but with their low scholarship they tried to help us at least with the first traits of letters and certain relationships with words in advertisements.
They did it in a very empirical way, because they did not have the remote idea of how to do
    it
My parents were never close to me at the beginning of reading and writing; but if they were required to attend school take notes. Never listen to the children's gardens.

2- Help my daughters when they were too small to say the words correctly or to spell them. They painted, drew, they made comparisons, they counted, they dressed, they helped with household routines, feed the pets. Books of stories were read, they sang, they helped in work activities because from the time they were little they got involved in the activities of production. Three things will not do for them.
Let them alone learn to learn and write at home,

3-Our Honduran society would be different in the way we think, act if we all have a model of action and that only corrects the laws were applied correctly in the sensethat if all the parents had a level of schooling adequate enough and these were put into practice according to the schools of parents who were trained to instruct them how to help their children since they were little in the way they should be learning to read and write. Reading, the involvement of the daily routines of the home
The parent waits until the child is in a first grade to start reading and writing, I do not know why the gardens do not do this work of beginning with reading and writing. It’s very hard to see how the children come at the first grade without any knowledge about the reading and writing.

  2. Hi
    1) When I was a child I remember that my sister was 3 years older than me and I remember going to the kindergarden with her, so I was motivated seeing and listening stories from books when her teacher read it. And my mother taught me how to read when my oldest sister did her homeworks, So I think she used print motivation with me to help me learn, and I could say that it was so helpful for me.

    2) I agree in the following 7 certain things :
    1. Speak in the language that is most comfortable for them, because in this way they will feel confident.
    2. Add more details when they are talking to enrich their vocabulary.
    3. Read aloud everyday print , label, signs, list and menus yo encourage them in reading.
    4. Tell stories to help them being creative in using their imagination.
    5. Read book that I already read to let them narrate the story.
    6. Sing songs but specially in English to encourage them in learning the language.
    7. Talk about what is the same or different between two things with the idea that they can discriminate characteristics.
And according to the things that I will not do it with them, I read the information and I think that all the guideline is useful to help them improve in their reading skill. So in my opinion if I had children I will put this guideline in practice because they need to have experience in all as they are growing.

    3) In my point of view, in our country there is a lack of interesting in improving reading skills because parents do not motivate their children in become readers since they are little and are more focused on developing reading and writing skills without comprehension or are just focused in help them in fine motor skills. So, I believe that if parents read this guideline about how to encourage their children since early age, our society could be different because they won't have lack of comprehension when they read and at the same time they will be able to understand how they learn and grow in their society.

  4. 1. Talking about my experience in childhood with the readiness for reading, my mother somehow encouraged the habit of reading, initially she bought me enough stories and she read them, she even bought long play disk or cassettes to listen to the classic fairytale stories and then she asked me questions about the story to see if I understood what it was about. He also helped me at home to read through the Nacho, she put me to read the signs on the street and buildings, magazines and newspapers.

    2. 7 things you are very certain you will do for them.
    A) Dedicate time to my son: especially to accompany him with reading (read with him and listen to him) so that the child acquires the reading habit.
    B) Know your tastes: Just as not all children like to play the same games or watch the same cartoons, they do not have to like the same books either. Parents know their children better than anyone and they know what stories or characters they will like the most.
    C) Ask for advice and know the appropriate books for your age
    D) Understanding reading as a game: you have to get the child to see the reading as just another game. For this, a series of activities can be programmed around the book, and its history, so that they can see their playful part. For example, read your stuffed animals, dress up or draw a picture at the end of the reading. And something very important, when we read to the children it is fundamental to dramatize the readings.
    E) Create reading spaces at home and mark daily routines.
    F) Talk about books and associate them with each moment or situation:
You have to take advantage of (naturally) talk about the books and their stories to the child at any time or situation that occurs throughout the day. This will cause them to create positive associations between what they are learning with reading and its application in their lives (although they are still not very aware of it).
    G) Take them to the library or bookstores, also online to get in contact with the books.

3 things you are very certain you will not do for them
    A) Choose a book outside the recommended age, since this can be harmful for the child by making him feel that it is too difficult or easy to understand or read for him.
    B) Do not press him with the reading, or not impose it.
    C) Not respectfully accompany the learning of reading and writing of my son.

    3. I think that as a society we would be more educated.
Reading specialists agree that reading is a habit, a pleasure, difficult to acquire in adulthood. And that the love of reading has many possibilities to consolidate when it has awakened in childhood.
What happens is that as in our culture we are not accustomed to the habit of reading we do not realize that reading demands an effort and in doing so we receive a reward, such as:

    - We instruct and learn
    - We grow
    - We had a good time
    - We think and reflect
    - We know other ways of thinking
    - We affirm our personality
    - We relax tensions
    - We inform ourselves

  5. 1._ When I was child, I loved to know new things, and my parents helped me to develop all the skills that I needed. In my reading skill preparation, my parents supported me with little stories, they bought me a notebook and there I wrote my favorite stories and then I read it for them, also they taught me the meaning of the words that were unknown for me. Sometimes they encouraged me to read the labels on the street.

2._ The seven things that I´m very certain I will do for my children are:
    * Talk with them about what is going on around us.
*Let them know what´s wrong and correct it.
*Read stories for them and encourage them to tell me what the story is about in their own words.
*If they want something (playing outside for example), first they have to say me the alphabet or whatever thing similar, to get the permission.
*Encourage them to read the labels when we go to supermarket.
    * I´d write words and they have to follow the list by writing words taking into account the last letter of the first words.
*I´d sing songs with them, and I´d explain the meaning of the songs to they dramatize or make mimics about it.
3 THINGS I WILL NOT DO FOR THEM:
*I won’t hurt them for no say something well.
*I won’t say rudeness for them if they are wrong in something.
*I won’t be impatient with them, even if they make me lose my mind.

3._ I think that our society would be different if the parents would patients and would pay attention to their children, in the sense to be worried for their children, and they can develop the skills in a good way. It can be a problem with the parents that didn’t finish their college, but if they would have another thinking and would want a change for their children, they could teaching them basic things like put the garbage in its place, don’t throw plastic things on the rivers, be kind to the people, help others, etc., and with these things little by little encourage the children to be better people and they can acquire the skill to want to learn more and more until develop all the skills necessaries to move forward the community or even the country.

  6. 1. When I was 5 years old before entering first grade, my mom decided to buy me the reading book called Nacho. At first I thought it was funny, but seeing my mom getting angry when I did not recognize the syllables. She acted violently and hit me several times. At the end I understand her because my mom did not have the pedagogical preparation to teach me effectively, something positive always exists from something negative. I could be able to recognize the syllables. When I entered to first grade, I was the only student who could read. I know that my mother did not follow the ideas suggested by the material, but she achieved her goal, that I learn to read.

    2. In a closely future, if I have the opportunity to be a father, I would be able to do the following important things in my sons;
    1. I would talk about what is going around them.
    2. I would show through YouTube shows about the most important fairy tales in the world.
    3. I would speak every single day with them.
    4. I would teach English songs to encourage them in learning the language.
    5. I would encourage them to respect people, plants, animals and the environment.
    6. I would teach them to take responsibility for their actions.
7.I would help them about different shapes and shapes of letters. I think the suggestions of this guide are very important for me It is difficult to choice which are not important, in other words I wouldn't teach them bad manners such as; do not scream , do not say lays . I think there is not exists a clearly book how can be the best father. Good and bad experiences these are the keys to be the best father of your sons.

    3. In our society today children spend at home for several hours without their parents. This happens because both parents work long hours to give their children what they need. If Honduras had an alternative program in which parents will work less extensive hours, the possibility would be that the parents would be in constant harmony with their children. The parents would be reinforcing the contents and values that are learned in the school. In other words, learning would be very significant. Our country would be one of the best countries in the world.

  7. 1. Please write a 50-word paragraph about your childhood experience with reading skill preparation. Did your parents do any of the guidelines in this article? If they did, how did this help you? If they did not, how did this affect you?
My childhood was awesome and I enjoyed it at all. My dad always read me stories and gave me the chance to express myself and create hilarious stories about anything, those were memorable evenings that developed my thinking and speaking skills. On the other hand, my mom taught me how to handle a pencil and how to write my name, it was before I could go to preschool and encouraged me to make many kind of draws.

    2. Think about your children if you have them or imagine that you have them if you don't. Which are 7 things you are very certain you will do for them? Which are 3 things you are very certain you will not do for them?
I imagine that If I had a child, I would:
    - Speak clearly to him in order to give the sounds the best that I can.
    - Read everyday a story or fairy tale.
    - Let him to express himself by talking or saying whatever he can imagine.
    - Give him printed letters for him to touch them and play with them.
    - Encourage him to handle the pencil and make what he will think that are draws.
    - Teach him how to write his name.
    - Play music to him, like the nursery rhymes because it would be funny making the movements and so on.
Of course I am very certain that I won't
    - Ask them to be quiet if they want to talk, sing, make up a fake story. Or not letting them to play with a pencil or with colors because they will leave a mess in the house.
    - Send them to sleep or to seat if they would like to play, run or dance with their friends or family.
-Not to eat a candy, cake, smoothies because their clothes is going to get dirt.

    3. How would our Honduran society be different if all parents knew and did these things for their children? Please write a 100-word paragraph about it.
Parents would have a better relationship with their children because they do those things at home and also they would not need to send their children to a nursery or day care. Children would develop all their skills at home, so they would be ready to learn better when they enter to the school because every child would know how to use a pencil, scissors, how to handle a book, how to name things that are inside their classroom and many more tasks. Also the curriculum would have and advanced design because children would not need to do some things in the same way that they do now.

1- In my childhood it was very difficult because our parents were not so studied, they were dedicated to grow watermelons and my mommy from home, my older brothers helped me how to do homework, but there was another problem, before first grade we could only go of listener, there was little or nothing learningand, in some way if I affect because as a children did not arrive with a good level of learning, only with I learned in the environment that surrounded me.

2- are the things I did with my daughter and what helped her was:

1- teach vocabulary every day and make her repeat it,
2- I joined sheets of paper bom and made them cardboard size to paint and have skills
3- I bought the book nacho to familiarize with the letters and figures
4- I assigned her tasks such as filling a page with dots (I would grab her little hand) and then she would
    5- reading stories
6- sing songs for children and adults and watching videos and she interacted doing what she saw, and that was how she spent.

3- Today students are interested in other things that our parents were interested in, before teachers talked and students listened, almost did not participate, but nowadays children learn by themselves with social networks, with other children before going to school, and we should give classes to form cities that are able to participate in a conscious and effective way in the progress of the community in which we live, only then would we be able to do something for our Honduras.

    1. Well, my mom, aunts and old sister are teacher, all of them have been my teachers since I was born (something like that). I never go to kinder garden because I knew all, I knew read and write, I knew the numbers. I remember that they always were telling me the color of each thing or how many thing I had in my hand (because of that I learned the numbers). They repeated all those things every day of my life, they tried to improve my writing skill when they taught me how to write the vowels ( a, e, I, o, u) then with the alphabet from A to Z. My aunt wrote in a notebook my name or sentences and so on I was learning new thing until go to first grade at the age of 5.
    2. If I were mommy or aunts I will help to my baby or niece or nephew like my mom and aunt taught me because is it a good technique but this time would be in both language English as a second language and Spanish. I will try to speak English correctly and help her/him if they commit a mistake, and teach her/him new vocabulary using images cause that motivates them to learn in a funny way.
    3. First Honduran people need to have more interest about the education. Because they do not have it. If all those people showed interest in the education of their children Honduras would be one of the first countries with a quality education. If all the parents try to think like a good teacher even they do not have that profession their children would improve their reading, writing, speaking skills. The children would enjoy educating themselves, they would try to be a better person, with more values, they could be polite, could be honesty. Maybe does not exits corruption. That was my opinion.

  10. I remember when I learned to read and write it was a long time ago that little, I remember but something that is in my mind, is the relationship I had with my parents and relatives who encouraged the habit of reading and writing. In the mornings when my dad went to work, and I got up to get rid of him at dawn and I could not sleep with the excitement of the garden or elementary school. I was never a child who fell asleep or I was sick to miss, I always wanted to go to school, and at 4 or 5 years, I do not remember very well, but something I do have in mind is when I parents They gave some books or stories so that I was not fighting.
My house did not have the right atmosphere, or rather, we did not have a place called a library, but it was an old shelf where they put magazines, stories, books of all kinds. There were many magazines of tourist sites such as hotels or fish that were the first books, I started reading
I am sure that in the future when I have my children, I will do the same things my parents did with me; read with them, write with them, give them books, draw with them, color books, teach them to write or put videos on YouTube where they learn many things.
what they would not do for them are their obligations, such as their tasks as this will make them loose with their obligations.
In our society because of the crisis that both parents have to work for long hours, this means that they do not live with their children, 2 days not enough (Saturday, Sunday) to talk with them, to read with them to help them in their tasks of day by day, as parents we must devote a lot of time to our children since that depends on their future.

    1. Please write a 50-word paragraph about your childhood experience with reading skill preparation. Did your parents do any of the guidelines in this article? If they did, how did this help you? If they did not, how did this affect you?
When I was a girl, I grew up in a very close family, but unfortunately they were not there all the time to teach me new words, although I always taught songs and sang with me, I memorized poems for example poems for the father or mother. Learning songs and poems helped me a lot when I entered kindergarten, because I already had enough vocabulary!

    2. Think about your children if you have them or imagine you have them if you don't. Which are 7 things you are very certain you will do for them? Which are 3 things you are very certain you will not do for them?
In the future, if I have children, the 7 things I would do for them are:
    a. I would go my children to the library to explore new things.
    b. I would tell them stories with pictures at night
    c. I would ask you how was your day.
    d. I would sing songs with them.
    e. I would tell you stories and that they dramatize.
    f. listen to them and correct them when they make mistakes
    g. I will teach you funny videos.

The things I did not do for them are:
    - Teach them bad things, like telling lies.
    - I wouldn't stop them when they do things.
    - I wouldn't let them be ill-educated.

How would our Honduran society be different if all parents knew and did these things for their children? Please write a 100-word paragraph about it.
In this society it is very difficult to get children to have good learning in their homes, before going to kindergarten or schools, because parents are not all aware of the things they have to do, because education in Honduras is not very good, therefore the father does not have or does not know that he has to do that kind of thing for his children so that they have a good learning since they were little. This is also the reason why parents do not have much time to dedicate to their children for their jobs or other reasons. Society should know these things to help their children to be great people in the future.

1.-Since I was a little girl, I remember my parents’ library filled with many books because both have been avid readers and they encouraged their children to read. I have printed in my memory my oldest brother Carlos reading for us classic novels such as: Notre- Dame of Paris, Journey in the Center of the Earth, The 1001 Arabian Nights, among others, and he always looked for us at the dictionary for the meaning of new words. I also remember that we used to listen from vinyl records and cassettes poems, fairy tales and stories for children. Due both of my parents worked all day, my sister Elena and I played during the day recreating some of the stories my brother read to us, using my parents and brothers ‘clothing. I think that creating an environment that motivates your children to read from an early age is a good way to encourage them to develop reading and writing skills.
2.- My only son is currently 21 years old and he loves to read. I can proudly say that I encouraged him to read since he was little. I bought him books with fairy tales, stories with beautiful printing, and I read them aloud to him before he went to bed. Sometimes I didn´t finish the stories on purpose asking him to invent possible endings to them. Because he loved fables and animals, I bought and made puppets to play with them. When he was three years old, I taught him to write his name in a little white board where he used to draw, unfortunately he loved to write his name everywhere. My husband and I bought my son DVD´s educative games to play with them. Three things that I don´t recommend to young parents are: 1.- to over expose little children to the use of internet through cellphones and computers without supervision 2.- To let the T.V or your domestic maid be a substitute parent and teacher of your children 3.- To pronounce incorrectly the words to your little children.
    3. - Honduras society will be different if parents were aware of the importance of emergent literacy in children. Some of the things that I think will change are 1) the illiteracy rate will be smaller, currently it is of 12%.in urban areas and 14% in the rural area. 2) Children will stay longer at school. In the last 4 years 20,358 Honduran children l have abandoned elementary school. 3) Children will be interesting in reading so they will increase their cultural knowledge. 4) It will increase the standard of health of the population 5) it will empower people to earn a higher income.

Well this kind of things I can not remember exactly, but I do not think my parents help me much, but my dad read the newspaper everyday and still does it, I think, it helps me to read but just that. I never see him or her with a book on their hands I would like to read a lot, but it is rarely in me, because I did not have any example.

    2. Think about your children if you have them or imagine you have them if you don't. Which are 7 things you are very certain you will do for them? Which are 3 things you are very certain you will not do for them?
    I will:
    1. I will read much to they follow my example
    2. I will buy them books.
    3. I will make Book club.
    4. I will buy magazines and things that encourage them to read.
    5. I will read them when they go to bed.
    6. I will award them when they read books.
    7. I will read beside them and share opinions.
    I will not:
    1. I will not buy them Smart Celphones or tables.
    2. I will not forget to ask every week about their reading.
    3. I will not let them alone.

    3. How would our Honduran society be different if all parents knew and did these things for their children? Please write a 100-word paragraph about it.
Our society will be better if parents make kids read more in many ways, their attitudes change in the life. But depend what are they going to read?, if they read about everything in life they will see different the things when they confront them in daily activities.
¡In the case of reading things that do not help to develop or increase their knowledge please do not continue!
Our parents need to be examples in their homes to have better kids at school and universities. But that start there in that places where the children believe in their parents. In Addition at school must apply many activities to wake kids interest about to read books, magazine, even the newspaper.

    1. My parents were often out working and rarely had time to pay attention at what I was doing; nonetheless when I made my debut on drawing things on my house’s walls, of course, they got mad at me but they also tried to improve my gross motor by pasting color poster on the walls and guide my hand on how to take a pen correctly to write or they encouraged me to put a name on the draws I made, this gave the eagerness to start learning new letters to make messages on the wall.
    2. Of course I would like encourage my children on a way they can leisurely start wanting to improve the reading and writing skills on their own so I would do the following: Start reading them pictures books or print the images to stick them on a wall and read the text, Point out at the names of restaurant’s brands for them to start making a association of symbols, Ask them if they have learned a new word of the TV shows they were watching and try to use in a simple context, Give them a lot of paper and crayons for them to start drawing and from time to time challenge them to draw a letter or a combination of letters, Look on the internet games of words association like hangman games, Try to have a one to one conversation with them and add vocabulary to their sentences without discourage them, and Make exercises on daily basis in which they will use their hands for developing their gross motor. Now are the three things I would not do with kids: I would never reprehend them or ignore them when they try to initiate a conversation with me even though I am busy, do never put pressure on them to learn or use difficult words or a specific word to describe something, and finally I would not try to get them bored by forcing them to read or pronounce a word well at their first try since this can get them to totally despise learning new vocabulary.
    3. Hypothetically talking if Honduran people started to teaching children or even more important to motivate them to learn giving them a totally different point of view of how starting to read and write is, we would get a literate society in which they would demand the opening of libraries or bookstores instead of new highways or malls since they a little spark would have been ignite on the curiosity of children on what different kinds of new books would be there, but more importantly teacher’s would have an easier job since children instead of finding writing and reading exercises boring they would find it exciting since it might be anew topic they are not aware yet.

This happens because both parents work long hours to give their children what they need. parents need to have more time to be with the kids and play or share more important moments with them, with these things little by little encourage the children to be better people and they can acquire the skill to want to learn more and more until develop all the skills necessaries to move forward the community or even the country.

  16. My name is Marina Liberdy Garcia Lopez 801199220099

1.-My parents only used two skills:
    Print Motivation and Print Awareness
Both helped me to have an interest in reading, I remember that my mother took me different children's books and sat with me, I began to read them while I repeated what she said. I managed to develop my writing, reading and speaking as I grew up, even in my adult age I continue with interest in it.

2.-As a mother, I would dedicate every moment to being her teacher in everything that is within my reach.
    - I would teach him songs to develop his rhythm when talking
    - I would tell you many stories and create new stories with him
    - I would teach you how to use books for your studies before teaching you how to use the internet.
    - I would teach him to draw, paint and create images that represent his imagination
    - I would play games to develop his good humor while teaching him new words.
    - I would make lists of words to teach him a new vocabulary
    - I would create an environment in your room for the development of your learning

3.-Honduras could present improvements in the area of learning by implementing these skills.
The skills provide the opportunity to develop and increase learning in the child's early years. The education of the child at home is fundamental for the development of the intelligences.

As teachers are implemented techniques and teaching methods but parents are the first teachers of our children so they create the roots of learning, the skills we see in the article are different ways that can be implemented to encourage the child and that the Child begins to get involved in an educational environment, and with it the teacher can continue with the growth of the intelligences in the classroom with their classmates.

  18. My parents used to tell me stories, and I always was surrounded by music but, they did it because they love music and books not because they thought that would be helpful in some point but I think that may helped me to develop my Reading habit.
At school, Spanish was my favorite class of all, I really enjoyed to read, and I remember that in high school I started writing poems (most of then quite depressive, as a result of my literary taste).
    1. Think about your children if you have them or imagine you have them if you don't. Which are 7 things you are very certain you will do for them? Which are 3 things you are very certain you will not do for them?
    1. Tell stories
    2. Read books together
    3. Say nursery rhymes
    4. Visit libraries often
    5. Ask “what” questions
    6. Write my child’s name specially first letters
    7. When my childs talks to me, I will add more details
    Things I´m certain I wont:
    1. Repeat and spand what a kid says.
    2. Hold the book upside down
    3. To sing songs with different tones

How would our Honduran society be different if all parents knew and did these things for their children?
If all parents knew about these things and practiced them, our country will be totally different, they will raise readers, people who think and are aware of their reality. People willing to help other people. As I read once, "if we do not read, we will never have words to understand and transform the world". With the right words we can make others happy, or resolve conflicts, understand others, or at least we will be more tolerable. Sometimes I feel that I live in the Bradbury dystopian novel called "Fahrenheit 451", with the difference that firefighters do not burn the book because "they make people think", Hondurans (most of them) know more about viral videos that our national problems such as: poverty, violence, police abuse, corruption, etc. I would like to share a phrase from that novel: "If you do not want an unhappy man politically, do not give two faces to a question that worries you, give him a better one, do not give him any, let him forget that there is such a thing as War ... Give people the contests they win by remembering the words of the most popular songs or the names of state capitals or how much corn grew in Iowa last year."

  19. My parents were really good at developing my literacy skills:

Both of them really enjoyed reading so I remember I frequently used to see them reading books. My mom used to have a notebook to write notes and a highliter to highlight her favorite parts.
My dad used to read a aloud, sometimes I was sleeping and I listened my dad reading. We used to have reading sessions were we as family read the scriptures. Everyone had their own book and crayon, we used to take turns to read a verse, then we shared opinions about the reading.

All these things developed my early literacy skills.

7 things I will surely do with my child:

1 Say Nursery Rhymes and sing together.
2 Talk to him about what is going on around him.
3 Let my kid see me reading.
    4 Read together frequently
    5 Write my childs name
6 Make lettters from clay so he can differentiate shapes of letters
7 Read alphabetical books with clear letters and pictures.
8 Talk about what is the same and what is different about 2 things.

    Things I wont do:
1.Scold him for not articulating a sound well.
    2.Use reading as punishment.
3.Stop him when telling me a story.

How would Honduran society be different:
    We wouldn’t be easily cheated:
Most of our parents ignored how to develop early literacy in their children. Most of them were really busy, working hard to feed us. They used to send us to the school and apply strict methods of discipline and memorization. Most of them received the same treatment.
Today we see the consequences of not paying enough attention to early literacy, most of Hondurans don’t like to read, we see reading as something really boring, as something we have to do just for obligation.
We just read when we are asked to do it, we don’t read for curiosity or pleasure and that is why we are easily cheated, we easily believe in our governors, ministers, pastors, social media, news and whosever seem to know more than us.
We wouldn’t be quiet to all the unfairness things happening in front of us, we would fight against corruption with logical ideas and well prepared strategies, we would seek to study, research and read as more as we can to be prepare to fight in this ideological war. We would know our duties and rights as Hondurans, we would have a really nice country to live with people respecting each other; but this would change only if we change the individuals. The 1st person who needs to change is the person who I see in the mirror and then I can help my family and people around me change.
